KL Wagoner interviewed Sondra for Southwest Writers, sharing how the hundreds of photographs Sondra created as she explored Route 66 came to be published by Sunstone Press in time for the Centennial of Route 66. Read the interview here.




Sondra just completed a series of library talks and book signing events around Albuquerque and Placitas. Look for a video version of her presentation soon.

Saturday, September 13: As part of a Route 66 Centennial Kick-Off in Grants. I will be signing and selling my book, "Route 66 New Mexico, A Visual Tour" at the Fire and ICE Park, 700 Santa Fe Avenue (aka Route 66) from 10 to 3. Come and join the fun and stop by and say 'hello'.

December 17, 2024, 6:30 pm, talking to the Albuquerque Archeological Society about the origins of the book. Location: Albuquerque Art and History Museum. Their meetings are free and open to the public


November 16, 2024, 11am-2pm: The book signing at the Route 66 Museum in Tucumcari was great fun. They are "all in" for Route 66!
